Intro: Hi,
My name is Anand Raghavan. I moved to the US in 1993 from Hyderabad, India.

My foray into Photography was due to my love for Aviation. I have been attending air shows for almost 11 years now and wanted to take pictures of military planes that are normally not accessible to the general population.

I started taking pictures in 2001 with a Nikon N-80 Film SLR and a Nikkor 28-105mm lens. I have since upgraded to a Nikon F-100 film camera and have depleted my wallet by buying some good Nikkor lenses.

May 2006: I purchased the new Nikon D-200 Digital SLR. It is one hell of a camera and I am still trying to figure out the various features.
