I liked your subject Michael. An old ruin, next to the oldest sea. A nostalgic site. I just thought i see how it looks like with some processing:
- increased contrast; adjusted curves and decreased brightness.
- i added a movie-like frame supporting the subject---for me this is an abstract story telling picture.

I couldnt help but experiment with your lovely close up. I increased contrast, saturation and sharpeness and cropped a little more..added a frame. Hope you like it.

Increased contrast and decreased curves, saturation and brightness. I felt this can accentuate the darker side on the face, her wrinkles and the sense of aging.

Your photo is very nice and I felt I had to share a workshop to explore other alternatives.
I cropped, and then used blur to get rid of the spots. I sharpenned eyes a little and increased brightness for her face.
I have to admit I am not a fan of faking beauty through image enhancements, but I guess we can idealize or dream?

Again, your shot is very nice, but this is only a variation. Hope you like it.

If I may put in my two cents, but your capture is very nice anyways. I took the liberty to share another variation of this nice shot.

I sharpenned only one level, decreased curves and brightness, increased saturation slightly and increased yellow and red to give it a warmer feel.

Your shot is great as is but i wanted to share this one too.

This is just a variation. I like your photo as is and I think you should post of a few of it but with different colour tones and sharpness. Wonderful capture ...

in this one, i just gave some yellow tones and decreased brightness just a little....i still think yours is nicer, but your photo is worth experimenting with:)

Hi Maria,
I liked your perspective and framing so i thought i can emphasize it by tiny white frame.
I used photoshop to sharpen only one level, a very small touch of yellow, saturation and contrast. A very small increment change in lightness too.
Thanks for the photo. I feel nostalgic to that place as I lived 5 min. away!
