I converted to sepia for two reasons. I felt the grain in the tree area was a bit distracting and this image has a timeless quality to it that works well in sepia.

I straightened out the horizon and added a little bit of unsharp mask.

Adjusted levels, boosted contrast after selecting everything but sky area, and used a bit of unsharp mask.

Well, I guess this is somewhere in between the other Adam's workshop photo and the original. I did a feathered selection of everything but the sky and made a slight curves adjustment to lighten things up.

This seemed a bit soft, but after adjusting the Levels it became quite saturated, so I desaturated a bit and added a tiny amount of contrast. I tried rotating to straighten the column, but this would cut off the foot so I left that part as is.

Added more yellow and a bit of red to take away the blue cast. Also saturated a bit. Finally I sharpened more except for the cigarette because I felt it was a bit too jagged.
