Intro: Hello,

Photography is one of my best hobbies, especially in combination with traveling.

Actually my favorite subject is pictures of people in their daily life. But to me the hardest part of being a photographer is creating the right moments. I mean, technically it’s just a matter of learning your camera, and click. But I still find it hard to translate the atmosphere of certain moments with people in different places to an image. First of all, as a photographer you are a member of the situation too, and it is hard not to influence this by taking pictures.

For years I was taking slides with my complete manual and 26 years old Minolta xd-7, which I got from my father. He wanted to have an AF-camera one, but now he still regrets that he gave the old one to me……..hihi.
I took pictures in India, Indonesia and Eastern Africa. But I have no slide scanner so its hard to show them. I still find the results of slides better than digital ones, but my new digital Nikon d70 gives me better opportunities to communicate, for example by means of Trek Earth.
