Intro: Hi,
I live in Sydney,I have had absolutely no background in photography, although I have always had an interest, but it has always been just that, an interest. Actually I am in the Buidling and Construction industry. I bought myself a Canon AV-1 back in the eighties, which really was my first steps at taking any sort of half decent photos.
Over the years I have been able to learn a heck of a lot about this fascinating pastime, but I think I have really left it a bit late in life to start seriously, so I think it will remain for me, a pastime, but with the recent purchase of my Canon 300D Digital SLR and having found this fabulous site, I love this pastime with a passion. I am trying to absorb as much info as I can and by simply taking photos and watching what you fine people are producing, it inspires me greatly. I sit in awe at so many of the images on this site, there really are some very, very talented people out there.
I welcome any criticism of my images that you can offer, so go ahead, criticise me to the hilt.:-)
The Camera now has priority in my creative life, the guitar will just have to sit back in the corner and gently weep. Hmmm, could be a song in there somewhere. :-)
