Hi Ulf, in this workshop I wanted to decrease the contrast and lighten the right side shadow a bit. To do this I used curves with a reverse s-curve. Points selected were 205-203, 73-100, 34-48. This altered the colour slightly so I compensated with +10 to master saturation. To lighten the right shadow, I applied an overlay layer and with a 3% opacity white brush, I toned it down.

As an added note: there is a lot of detail in this shot, and it is large. To post at 197K I had to set the quality level down to 58% with a save for web saving.

I hope this meets with your approval. I have removed the copy from my terminal.
