That's the original version. I thought the crop worked better or highlighted his expression better. Also adjusted contrast and light on the other version.

This same old man at work in his field. He'd belong at home enjoying some rest, but he was harvesting his field with hardly any protection on his forearm... I wish I could have spent more time "talking" with him...

Just a sample of what those mountains are like. At this point, we were at about 2600m high. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do any justice to the beauty of the place. I'm still mixed on whether I should make this place public or just keep it to some "happy few". Hopefully, the eventual arrival of some tourism won't spoil the mentality of people over there, though part of the work in the project was education on how to behave towards foreigners and say "hello" or "welcome" instead of the usual "you!" or "faranji!" ;)

Sharpened a little and increased contrast & saturation. Added a slightly larger frame.

as I said, the original file was very small, but I wanted to illustrate what I meant with my comment:
1. slight levels adjustment to emphasise the blacks;
2. slight curve adjustments to increase contrast and saturation;
3. minor sharpening.
the difference is minor, but at least on my screen the gray/yellow cast is gone and colours are a bit more saturated.

Et aussi léger recalage des niveaux, filtre de renforcement.

J'ai d'abord fait la rotation de 0.75 degrés.
Puis j'ai corrigé la perspective.
Ensuite j'ai procédé au recadrage pour enlever une partie du ciel.
J'ai augmenté la largeur jusqu'à la limite TE de 800 pixels.
J'ai finalement augmenté la netteté avec un unsharp mask de rayon 1 pixel et un amount de 2. C'est un peu forcé, mais ça montre bien la différence avec l'original.
Qu'en penses-tu ?
