Hi,

I'm from Antwerp, Belgium. I'm a student in Applied Linguistics (Dutch/French/Spanish/Portuguese) in Antwerp.

I'm a beginner, an amateur photographer. My first camera was a Goko UF-10 which I got for my first communion, long time ago :) Since I bought my first digital camera - a Canon PowerShot A540 - I've become really interested in digital photography. I recently bought a Canon EOS 450D (Digital Rebel XSi / Kiss X2 Digital), which is my first dSLR camera!! :-P

I still have very much to learn, but I already learned a lot on TE. I want to learn from the critiques you give me, I really appreciate them. So I prefer receiving an interesting critique without points, from which I can learn, than two points given just to make me feel like I'm good.

I really enjoy taking pictures and applying new techniques which I learn from TE. I hope you'll enjoy looking at my pictures! And remember: be honest, if you don't like something in a picture, just say it! Of course, positive critique is also welcome! :-D

I don't like members who give 'green smileys' to everybody, just because they hope the others will return them as many smileys as they gave away... I don't like my photos to be overrated, so again: I prefer 0 points or 1 point and a critique which I can learn from, than 2 points and 'Nice shot!' as a critique.
