I reduced the noise with PS cs2, sharpened and then did some clone stamping here and there to remove stains and washed whites.

Hu Scott,
I did cropped your image on the right side. I did cloned out the wire cables that distracts a lot. Also, enhanced the colours with levels.

Photo was cropped, distracting backgroung blurred using blur tool. Contrast added. Sharpened a bit. Color adjusted and finally framed.

1. Converted to black and white.
2. Altered the levels to add more contrast.
3. Sharpened the image a little.
4. Changed back to colour and added a deep blue filter at 11%.
5. Added a frame.

Crop and adjust contrast then unsharpen mask about 200%, with .3 radius at 1 threshold. The light beams now provide that 'leading line' and diagonal direction toward your subject.
