- Got interested in photography when I came to the UK in the early 90s. Got myself a low end SLRs, first Yashica 108, then Canon EFM. When I returned to Malaysia, I upgraded my camera to another low end autofocus SLR Canon EOS 66. (I couldn't afford high end cameras). My interest in photography faded away as my work became too demanding.. without never actually improved my photo-taking skill.
My passion for photography rekindled when I stumbled upon this site (TE). As I now realised, photography has revolutionised into digital. For my old camera is already out of date and out of age, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 is my starting point for digital photography. Digital SLR would be ideal but for my level of passion after the long neglect, I am still unsure of its worth, for the tag is pricey. But as digital age is still very young, it seems that price of digital equipments keep going down at a faster rate, as new technologies and improvements are being applied into these equipments. Hopefully, by the time I decide to have my first DSLR, it will not dig too much into my pocket...
