This is a great photo. its perfect symmetry, and the great lighting, and the stars on the ceiling makes it interesing.
I just thought i'd experiment in making it into a black & white photo with the stars staying in orange. Here are the steps:
-layer mask
-set satuation to 0
-paintbrush to select colour of the stars
-adjust level
-add border
I hope you like this effect.
Regards,
Natasha

I like this photo and thought i'd give it a little more colour as it's a lovely architecture and composition.
Here's what i did:
A new layer, and then choose 'Multiple'; Then adjust opacity till it's 'right' (could be a personal taste)
-adjust level
-use selective colour to bring out the red (cyan -30, black +30) and black (+30)
-add borders

I really like this photo, the posture of the lady and the pouring. I find her clothing so beautiful that i decide to emphasize on the colour by just satuating it. Also, making the rest of the photo in black & white would understate the fact that it's not that clean.
The techniques I went through in PS are:
-Turning the photo into B&W with satuation
-selecting the woman figure to be in colour by paint brush
-adjusting levels
-adjusting contrast
And I added a black border.
I hope you like it.
Regards,
Natasha
