- My name is Rodney and I'm a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. My film works consists of experimental shorts. Mainly experimental because it's the only genre where you can test new methods of telling a story (ie effects processing etc.)- just so that I can incorporate said methods as I transition into narrative dramas, which is my main goal.
I Moved to LA in Jan of 2008 and so far it's not what I expected, I thought it would be a recreation of the Renaissance period- where literature, art, drama, just flourished- was very stupidly wrong. There are very talented artists here though, you just have to search, love to search, other individual's talents enliven me. I think I'm meandering.
