I started off by making the colours slightly more saturated to enhance the primary colours. I then cropped out a bit of the lower portion and then applied "unsharp Mask" to shapen details and contours of the bike.

I have been advised that adding blue sky is frowned upon for postings, however, for your own personal enjoyment, you might like this. It looks a bit fake around the edges, to be sure. I just picked two shades of blue and then used the gradient tool to soften the blue to the horizon. Lovely photo, that's why I wanted to play with it some more.

Just cropped this in The Gimp and added the border back in. Hope you find this interesting. As with most workshops that aren't fixing glaring errors, there are things I like in each version. I think the WSed version is less cluttered, but it doesn't have that nice 1/3 up 1/3 in balance the original does.
