| Intro: | I am an "old photographer", I live in France, and I like above all travel photos, landscapes and people. I use mainly colour photos, but I like so black and white. Most of my pictures are argentic, but I work also in numeric since 2 years. Numeric is very interesting, because it allows many adjustments, and photos can be improved on PC. And defects can be easily corrected,since pictures can be seen immediately. Nevertheless, the quality of argentic remains better: The big problem in numeric are not pixels(6 MP are widely sufficient for most pictures), but contrasts, numeric is unable to traduce correctly high lights and shadows. And photos are often flat, they need most of time a treatment on PC. | |
