the balance of roofs is interesting,
this shot reminds me of this tower in Japan,
Yakushiji(temple).

I thought the greenery at the bottom of the picture was a nice touch (it creates the effect of peeking in on the town from a grassy vantage point) but capturing too much of the hill can be distracting from the settlement itself, so I cropped out a centimeter at the bottom and a very small bit at the top.

The colors looked a bit muted, so I raised the temperature significantly. I believe this gives the scene more of a "glow" which fits the fresh "First Light" title. It also makes the body of water in the upper right appear more "majestic" in my humble opinion.

I increased the contrast slightly to draw out the lovely russet color of the roofs and the various shades of green in the picture.

The image was sharpened a bit for added clarity and definition.

Lastly, I added a frame to make the picture "pop" a little more.
