- Intro
- My first camera was a Kodak box camera given to me on my eighth birthday, 1958. Paper film on wooden rolls, a miniscule dark red window where you could see numbers printed on the film's back side to guide you when you manually wounded the film preparing for your next shot. 8 photos on each roll, 12 if you could afford it.
For my 12th birthday I got my first 35 mm, Agfa this time. There's been many others since.
My digital Minolta doesn't need film, only sparks from the batteries.
Just the other day I threw away hundreds of sheet of photo paper, long overdue.
I'm still an amateur and I still remember the faint acid smell from my dark room.
And yes, there will be photos here as well...in due time - Member Since
