I could see the originals attempts at showing the boldness of this building, but felt the image lacked boldness and brightness, I altered the exposure and contrast to give the building the stand out colours which were there to be manipulated and heightened. Hope you like it.

To get rid off the hard contrast in the image I made two adjustement layers in curves. First I made a layermask to isolate the sunny parts from the shadows. In the first layer I made the background heavier and because of the mask the shadows weren't affected. In the second layer I reversed the mask and made the shadows lighter. Hope you like it!
