1. I straight the lines
2. convert to BW with simple desaturate
3. duplicate layer, blur and overlay to make it more contrast.

I rotated this 3 degrees and then cropped so that the diagonal between the dark amnd light coloured sand ran corner-to-corner for a more graphical effect.

With Photoshop:
• Adjust pespective manually with Edit > Transform > Distort. (Lens Correction didn't work far enough here)
• Denoising and very slight sharpening with Noise Ninja
• Added frame

IMHO darkest picture looks little better, I changed brightnest of this picture and I made little correction of the sky with paint tool (soft light option 40% with color of light - black)
