Hi Chris,

Very nice shot. I just felt it could do with a bit more sharpness and being a bit closer.

Started with an unsharp mask 150%, 0.3pix, 0 treshold. Edit-fade to lighter at 100% opacity. Then unsharp mask 150%, 0.3pix, 0 treshold. Edit-fade to darker at 100% opacity.
I cropped part of the left and top, to bring the boy a bit closer. Then a noise reduction with Noise Ninja photoshop plugin on the sky only.

After that a frame added w canvas option and your subtitle put back into it. Hope you like it!

As requested, here is the colour version of the images.

The only processing taken place on this is some slight dodging and burning to darken the ground as it was slightly washed out.

Turned it into sepia and raised the saturation to give it a sunset feel.
Created a different frame.

A simple brightening of the photograph and cropping.
