I love Egyptian flat bread - freshly baked it is just wonderful! So I couldn't let this image go by without a little adjustment...

The first thing I did was to give it a little crop, and by making the woman less central it forces the eye to scout around the image more.

Next I adjusted the levels as the white of the woman's clothing was a little bit blown. I couldn't recover it completely so I also adjusted the curves a little which also helped to add contrast to the rest of the image as well.

Then I slightly burnt the shadows on her clothing and also the midtones, to at least bring out a bit of definition, which helped to combat (or at least hide) the blown highlights.

Lastly I masked around her face and slightly sharpened it before adding a simple border.

Cropped to make the hawk appear closer and bigger. Increased colour with a bit of saturation. Sharpened. Resized and framed. Hope you may like it.

This was actually shot through a fence....which you can somewhat see on the original. Once I desaturated it, it helped out a lot with the fence.

Same photo just run through Neat Image...too much softening but I still like it :)

Ran this through neat image-and the all it really did was smooth out the background...not too noticeable it was "processed" :)
