Intro: When I was knee-high, I wanted to be an artist.

As I grew, I became sidetracked by the exciting world of science and became distanced from these early aspirations.

The battle between these two worlds has often resulted in a severe lack of purely creative endevors in my life.

With my fast-paced lifestyle, photography is something that is one of the more efficient art forms I can enjoy. Efficiency should not be confused with quality though, and I have a great deal to learn about photography!

There is something amazing about capturing a moment or highlighting a detail that would not be noticed in the frenetic pace of the normal world.

In any case, I still hope to be an artist when I grow up...
