| Intro: | ***Defficilis in otio quies.*** (A.Schopenhauer - The Wisdom of Life) ***SORRY NOT TO BE HERE AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE TO, BUT THE FINAL MONTHS AT THE UNIVERSITY CONSUME ALL MY FREE TIME...I´LL TRY TO KEEP UP WITH YOU*** Born 1981, I live, at least for the time being, in Zilina, Slovakia, where I was born. I work in the field of immunohaematology, and study at the same time (which means that I have no free time at all). I like jazz and blues, F.A.Hayek and H.Arendt, P.K.Dick and S.Lem, Red Dwarf and Yes Minister, Schopenhauer and E.Hoffer, Monty Pythons and Blade Runner, politics and sociology, history and literature (and especially scifi and fantasy)...and literature, literature, literature...and much much more... I am not professional, photography is just my relax...and what a relax it is! Forgotting the little trivialities and problems, and focusing on the world around, on the light and atmosphere, looking for the right place and angle…and suddenly you realize how much you can see around yourself, all the small details you haven´t noticed before…Every time, when I see a photo, I say to myself - there must have been someone, exactly at this time and this place, to take this shot... Sometimes, you can even feel the atmosphere through the photograph, the cold morning air, sleepiness of the sunny afternoon, you can smell the sweet air in some forgotten valley... Photograph has the power to capture and petrify a moment in certain time and certain place. It is one of the most beautiful types of memory, but with one amazing advantage - you can share it.
