| Intro: | I work with computers and photography a good thing to switch to when I feel like that. I love old glass and tent do take pictures with manual focus lenses. I use old Pentax, Zeiss, Nikon and Kiron lenses with EOS adapters. One of my favorite lenses is a 28-210 f4-5.6 Kiron lens... It has amazing color reproduction and can be very sharp and contrasty despite being one of the first 7x zooms. I also like a 24/2.8 Nikkor lens in non-AI version. Some of the best lenses that I own are a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 35/2.8, Takumar 28/3.5, Takumar 50/1.4 It might be my personal bias, but I think combination of old Nikon lenses and Canon digital SLR sensors works out pretty good particularly for landscapes and panoramas. | |
