to leave an idea of having a photo as close to reality as possible and to go for brightness and expression...
I thought, my original photo looked too faded-colored to the most of viewers, so I decided to check out another approach to your hearts:)
here is the version which was changed using levels, curves and additional sharpening. Now it doesn't look like anything real but might be more attractive as an abstract piece. please let me know which you like better! Cheers, Olga

Small level correction,little more saturation and contrast,warm filtre,and re-frame(this one only to make the frame completely black,but whit this vanished your name,sorry..).I hope you like it.
[I think that your original photo has something wich is lost when noise is cleaned,but I also show you the workshop :)]

In photoshop CS3,

An unsharp mask of 20% - 50 pixel radius; After that a smart sharpening at 18% - 2 pixel radius, lense blur.

I made use of noise ninja plugin in photoshop. I profiled the image, noise reduction on +13, softness +3. I exaggerated the effect by putting the contrast to the maximum, +20.

The original is much more mystical. This version gives more details on the mountains. Hope you like it!

In Photoshop i did a few things to bring some intensity back to the color.

First i used levels:

Settings: 42/.91/245

Then i felt that it washed everything out on the yellow side of the spectrum, so i tried to tone that down to more of what i imagine it actually looked like.

Color Balance:
Shadows/Midtones/Highlights: +8/11/6 on blue, i left the rest as they were.

i then added a little bit more contrast:
Brightness: -3
Contrast: +6

Finally, i kicked up the saturation just a little bit:
Hue/Saturation: Saturation: +7
