to leave an idea of having a photo as close to reality as possible and to go for brightness and expression...
I thought, my original photo looked too faded-colored to the most of viewers, so I decided to check out another approach to your hearts:)
here is the version which was changed using levels, curves and additional sharpening. Now it doesn't look like anything real but might be more attractive as an abstract piece. please let me know which you like better! Cheers, Olga

I cropped the frame out to make it easier to work with the image. selected the color for the sky and used paint bucket with 20-tolerance. then I used Shadow/highlights in Adjastments to make the details in shadows more visible. then I reconstructed the frame using canvas size.

1.Filter-> Lens correction-> vignetting (to remove dark angles)
2.Image -> Adjustments - > Levels ( to lighten the photo a little bit)
3. Crop and then Canvas size to make a black frame. This is definitely optional.
4. Filter -> Sharpen -> Unsharp mask (radius 1, treshold 1, amount 65)

Removed reflection and the dust with clone stamp.
Curves: input 72, output 50 (to make it simpler: just made a curve look like smooth "S", "light"-lighter, "dark"-darker.
It took 30 sec.
