I did a crop to make the diagonal pattern more obvious. Also I did a very slight adjustment of levels. Adding a bit more black and boosting the midtones.

Hello Remko
Here are the steps I did for this workshop:

1. Auto levels
2. Selected the whole image, then using the distort tool, I pulled the bottom of the poster to create a rectangle.
3. Just cropped everything else but the photos.

I think by doing this it emphasizes the photos more by removing the extras. Hope you find this helpful!

I rotated the picture to emphasize the confused vertical in the picture. Which one is the correct angle? :o)

Rotated picture about 34 degrees CCW and did som extensive cloning to not having to crop too much of the picture.

It a nice image, but it's a bit overexposed.
In Gimp I used levels to darken the midtones, a little less in the green channel than the others.
Finally I cropped the right side to bring out the relation in the shapes of the frog and the large piece of bark to the left of it.
