Hi Roy,
task: To darken the front baskets on the right.

How was it done ?
In PS CS I selected the baskets and used picture - adjust - variations to make the selection darker, then I used picture - adjust - darks/lights (sorry my english) I pushed the lights to 100% Finally I used the hardcore picture - adjust - lights/contrast and reduced light a little. That was it. I'm not really satisfied with it, but the baskets were overexposed so it is hard to rescue that part of the image.

Here is the solution of the little quiz, I was astonished that you were right, I would have had no chance at all...
I told my brother about this, he is some kind of car "freak". He told me in a second the model and year of built as here the blinkers are missing in the side mirrors !!! Strange world :)

Hi Chris, here is the workshop to check monitor calibration. I reduced contrast 27 points and brightness 7 points. Strange indeed :(

Dear Per, purpose of this workshop. To concentrate on the interesting part of the picture -> the glasses with the reflection.

Done in PS6: Just a little rotating to get the glasses straight and cropping.

Purpose of this workshop. To offcenter the main object and to free the picture from too much blank space.

Done in PS6: I just cropped a big part.
In addition I ran it through Neatimage.com and used unsharp mask. Small frame added. Hopefully you still like it. Yours, Jan

Purpose of this workshop to create a better composition by making a tighter crop as the windows on both sides were cut.

Done in PS6: I cropped :) and run an unsharp mask together with autocontrast.

What do you think ? It is just a little correction, but IMHO the picture is better now. Yours, Jan

Dear Seda, purpose of this workshop is to offcenter the mosque and give more intensity to the picture.

Autolevels
Framed
Cropped
contrast masking
Unsharp mask
and more red.
