- I am a amature/hobby photographer since the early 90's and have a Nikon F801s/N8008s . I wanted to make the step to digital, Since the D40 was not compatible with my lenses(no AF).I found a good deal in a shop, the D100 including MB100 Hardly used and not even a scratch , Maybe not the most modern digital camera, but for my standards modern enough and compatible with my lenses.
So here i am, learning the world of digital.
