Wonderful picture. But I really couldn't resist, I hope you don't mind some minor changes?
-level correction (slight)
-saturation (+15).

I looked at the original. I don't think it was necessary to make such aggresive PP. You can't do anything about really deep shadow in the snake's head. I didn't change much, mostly sky.
-I duplicated layer, made curves correction (more on highlights side) to darken the sky. In the result, the halo around the edges wasn't that bad. I also made colour balance correction for highlights, because the clouds were a bit purple. Then I ereased the rest of the sky layer to reveal the bottom with the building.
I increased saturation (+15).
The result is bit colder than your photoshopped version, but I think it looks more natural.
I'm sure many people would be able to do it better, but I did my best ;-)

HI! The faces are too dark, so I duplicated layer and made curves correction on one layer, then removed the rest with eraser/rubber (I'm not sure of the english name of this tool).

Duplikacja warstwy plus dopasowanie krzywych osobno na niebo i na kościół, potem gumeczka.
Zmniejszyłam nasycenie trawy, bo po korekcji krzywych wyszła radioaktywna.
mam nadzieję, że Ci się podoba.

Dół wygląda na zbyt ciemny, więc w GIMP-ie:
-duplikuj warstwę (w nowych wersjach GIMPa trzeba też dodać kanał Alfa na górnej warstwie)
-regulacja krzywych na obu warstwach, dolna - nieco przyciemniona na niebo, górna - ustawiona by rozjaśnić ziemię
-gumkowanie nieba z górnej warstwy, by wylazło ciemniejsze niebo spod spodu.
Nasycenia nie ruszałam.
Mam nadzieję, że Ci się podoba.

The ground and building looked too dark so... In GIMP:
-layer duplication (needed adding of transparent Alpha channel in newer GIMP version)
-curves correction on both layers: bottom layer darkened a bit for the sky; top layer corrected to highlight the ground
-rubbing-off the sky from the top layer to reveal darker sky from the bottom.
I didn't mess with saturation.

I love the light on the arch above the cross and couldn't decide, which version to show(cutting off the pillar on the right was out of question, because I don't like bookmark-like frames).
How do you think?

I admired the view, but I tried to improve your picture. So I made following changes:
-level correction (moved the thing responsible for shadows to make them deeper)
-slight saturation (+10)
-sharpening (+10)
-small frame
