I remember this "azzurro" colour of the Caribbean Sea when I was resting at the beaches of Playa del Carmen and Cancun a long time ago (2001). Nice memories.
I like the contrast of different blue colours and the simplicity of the subject.

Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona serata,

Come stai? Forgive me that I will switch to English, but it's quite late in Tbilisi and I'm too lazy to practice my Italian now :).I just wanted to tell you that you spotted this reflection well and made an interesting composition. Thanks for elaborated note about the Palace.

I'm always happy to see some nice reflections. :-) This one is well-framed, and has some beautiful architecture in it. Personally, I would have rotated the view, but either way it's a nice capture. :-) I also like that we can now see that the sun has come out after the rain.

This is an amusing, and very colorful, daily life scene. I'm guessing the woman is his wife or girlfriend, and he's done something to displease her. :-) The fact that the woman is holding an instrument just goes to show what a large role music plays in Cuban life. The looks on the women's faces are priceless. Nice capture! :-)

Absolutely a view to enjoy, from their point and ours. The jetty cuts into our view very nicely and the greenish poles afdd fine details. The reflections create a fine diagonal. Human presence is often a benefit to a photo, according to my ideas, even in landscape photos, and this is no exception. Those two probably didn't find any humans to include in their pictures. The background scenery is lovely, especially the peaks still covered with snow.

You were lucky to find the man in an absolutely perfect position. From the thumbnail it looks like he is leading a pair of real horses. This is a very charming painting in a naive style totally different from the cool graffiti of the big cities. It looks very new, indicating that the memory of the Carnation Revolution is kept alive to this day.

i would say that this is a very well balanced composition, not just regarding thirds etc, but also considering the contents. Magnificent ruins in the background and people closer to the camera (including one dressed in red). The light and colours are wonderful, but the aluminium construction looks a bit odd.

This is certainly a beautiful building, with exquisite design and ornamentation. You have shown these features with excellent clarity.
I love the way that you have presented it. It looks like a very competent postcard.
My warm regards,

You have captured a landscape that wild and cold!
The ridged f/g appears quite inhospitable, whilst the b/g mountains convey an imposing beauty.
The contrasts of light and shadow add to the interest.
My warm regards,

Your photograph looked good as a thumbnail but is even better on the Beta site.
The exposure is pin sharp, creating textures that seem almost palpable.
You have used the converging lines to their best advantage, leading directly to the door of the basilica.
There are not many people about but capturing a couple of figures adds life and scale.
My warm regards,
