Good Morning Krzysztof,
Another lovely photograph of this port.
The light can be so amazing after a storm and you have been able to reveal it in this shot. Although the sky is still dark, there is a strange, expressive light which has lit up the buildings and generated these wonderful reflections.
A fine, sharp shot with good thirds composition.
Have a lovely day,

Hello Krysztof - again the lovely post-storm light which accentuates the contrasting colours of blue and warm orange tints so well. A colour combination that is one of my favourites and how super they are here. Excellent definition with crisp contrasts revealing the textures in the buildings. The water and reflections are very lovely.

I´ve just comparing both pictures and at least for me the WS picture is as spectacular as this one-IMHO you could save it for the next post.
And concerning you´re title:)yeah that was a WELCOME:)
Awesome shot Jason!I´ve never tried to capture fireworks, but the way you did it and how you achieved the black sky(I always have WB problems at night shots) for the best backdrop is just great!

actually the sign captures well what we see-WOW,when it comes to the architecture of Moscow and big WOW when it comes to your shot.Really love the angle and juxtaposition of the sign with the architecture behind.
Wish You a good and calm week my friend

France is a country of these wonderful 'Cap' lighthouses. This is a fine example and adds depth and balance to your colourful capture of the 'pinasse'.
I love how the two focal features are given a second, shimmering rendering in the reflection.
Have a lovely day,

Hello Les - Nicely composed and framed we can see the patient and exacting work done by both the horses and ploughman. One can only think of the time and energy expended by man and beast and understand why trips to the gym were not popular or necessary!
Another wonderful rural scene.

Hello Takero - I do like this composition, the figures and horse form a neat triangle within the frame; sharp and full of action the drama and fun is well separated from the softer backcloth thanks to good use of DOF.
Super and deserving far more comment.

Hello Ra - Now here is a shot that gets me thinking. The atmosphere is tantalising and I can let my imagination run wild as I construct various narratives around the scene. I like the apparent simplicity but the shot isn't simple, its full of tension.

Oh yes dear Carlo. I remember this location from our time spent together! What an attractive scene. The city defences well captured and those distinctively shaped trees that line the roadside. Memories.... very pleasant ones!

Hello Carlo - I remember you asking us whether we preferred the setting of the Arno in Pisa or Florence and to be honest I hadn't really formed an opinion. Here I can see the charm of your chice quite clearly. There is a peacefulness and as you say the light is lovely. The soft colours of the buildings that line the river are attractively reflected. I simply must come back one day!
Warmest wished Rosemary

Hello Gladys - What majestic creatures these are and you have photographed them beautifully. How cleanly you present the details and I note particularly the well kept harness with the traditional horse-brasses. The composition is super. I especially like the fact that we see the horses standing on the uniformly coloured field of stubble behind which we see the soft greens of the Devon landscape.
