I wonder how many times the man on the right has walked this corridor. Did he walk it as a young novice and today is an old old man. The thought of time passing on this calm place like that, surrounded by the chaos of the city does make toy stop and think. Very nice photo and note

Hi Mesut, thanks for your note to point out the inscription! This doorway looks very old and that it would give way to a very secret place. Great idea to include the woman above for scale. The door is much bigger than I would have thought

I think if the artist knew what was in my head he might give a more definitive answer :) I love the photo, I absolutely do, the stark red against the black towers is really eye catching and of course, I envy the architecture and the reflection is brilliant. The art makes me think of some hybrid alien /robot invader, I'd say 80% giant crab monster and 20% machine. Seeing it in that detail gives it a very real and rather creepy appearance. It does look alive here, and angry. Something about its gait says "I'm going to hurt things"

This is a fantastic compliment to your other photos of the tower, and this has a totally different feel. The complex is a lot bigger than I thought from your more recent photo, and the dark tone on the walls here gives a very moody dark feeling, it looks rather threatening here. very cool!

Truly fanatic picture! Castles are what got me into photography so it's airways a pleasure to see one. I love these kinds of towering ruins, and red colour is beautiful, I am too used to seeing very in Ireland!
The depth of field you got is so spot on. Taking both the grass and flowers, as well as the castle in sharp focus is really perfect. the flowers add really well composed splashes of extra color. Very cool photo!

You've given this beautiful old plane a brilliant portrait, it looks so proud gazing up into the sky. The aluminum finish reminds me of old American buses that I've seen on tv, and the light brings out that finish beautifully.

As always, you have written a comprehensive and interesting note and given us a beautiful photograph to admire.
This scene works very well in black and white (I wonder what it would have been like in colour?) and your composition is excellent with the groups of visitors on the shiny tiled floor surrounded by interesting works of art and lit by the row of bright chandeliers which lead us into the depths of the picture.
A lovely clear photograph with perfect exposure, stunning details and sharpness and exquisite details and sharpness.
I'm not sure what those white structures at top left are - are they some sort of dehumidifier to prevent the damp breath of visitors damaging the artefacts carved from the rock salt?

Ciao caro Luciano,
Perhaps the grocer in my photo should have been working hard instead of just sitting in order to help the productivity and economy of his country, but these monks exist for the calm and peaceful life, helping in our spiritual life and not our economy.
And you have captured the tranquil life of peace and calm here as these two monks make their way slowly along this cloister and stand out beautifully in their dark garments against the brightly lit stone floor, the regular columns and the frescos on the right wall.
The light is glorious and the colours true and rich, your composition is most pleasing, your exposure perfect and the details and sharpness are exquisite.

as always, I enjoy seeing your local photographs.
Perhaps one day I'll get to visit your country :)
your shot has a very wide open feel and look to it, makes it look larger than it actually is.
the large white puffy clouds add a bit of softness and I enjoy the overall flow of the subjects

this is another wow type of photo for me!
this may be one of my favorites from your recent gallery.
I love the overall look because it has that dark black and blue colour combination and when you mix in a few greens is A++++
again, wow. love it!
