Good textural details in the weathered old facade of the building and a nice contrast between the faded colors and the vivid colors of the laundry hanging out to dry. Well framed and composed with excellent sharpness. Tfs!

The modern styled church has nice curves and good sharpness. The bare trees add layering and depth and partly frame the building. The evergreen tree at right contrasts well with the bare trees. Tfs!

A marvellous blue sky with good sharpness throughout. I might have cropped a little from the bottom to remove the part of a car at right. The yellow green tree at left contrasts with the bare tree at right. Tfs!

I was lucky enough to see some tulips in Bulgaria this year and just in the nick of time. The following day someone had come along and snipped and cut about 90% of the flowers that were there then I photographed them in Primorsky Park in Varna. Good layering of the different colors here with nice use of a shallow dof. Tfs!

Effective tight framing on the magnificent Gothic cathedral with good sharpness. It looks a little like the Notre Dame in Paris in style. Or Nimes. The stained glass windows look like promising photo subjects, if photos are allowed inside. Tfs!

Wonderful linear perspective of the rows and rows of white tulips stretching back towards the horizon. Excellent sharpness and a good dof with almost the entire immediate field in sharp focus. Only the very back and very front are in soft focus. Tfs!

Nice symmetrical placement of the 2 windmills in the frame when composing. Good sharpness and the 3 boats on the canal adds fine focal points. Well composed using the rule of thirds with the skyline well away from the centre. Tfs!

I was able to get my Nikon lens repaired cheaply in Izmir. I am sure Athens also has a Nikon branch. Perhaps Salonika too? Anyway I was wondering why many people were wandering around with lit candles the other night. The note explains it. A nice minimalist shot. Tfs. Ps, I can give you an address in Izmir.
