amazing building right!?
I loved it here.
Took a lot of photos, i'll get to posting them at some point.
you're shot has many of the local interests, people, locals selling items, motorcycles, and even the stray dogs walking around.
nice to have the women upfront and centre like this, as the first thing we see.

you're showing us another fine looking photo from this area.
looks like an excellent place to go for a walk with the dog, and of course with the camera in hand too.
the blue sky is the best feature, its a dark royal blue, really attractive as a contrasting element to the greens and yellows.
peaceful up here I bet.

haha...and now it looks like we have the same place but in the opposite view :)
I like the way the homes progress downwards, creating depth and an easy line for our eyes to follow.
a fine combination of whites and blacks and a hint of blue. enjoy your day

as technology becomes more advanced and people start using that technology every day, we're going to find these types of shots all the time.
Makes me wonder what will happen 50 years in the future!
it looks like she has no intention of using that Kayak :)

so this is what I missed by not driving up north?
I like how the mountains overlap eachother in this scene, and they each have different color shades.
really enjoy these rustic scenes from Northern India.

another fine looking city shot.
as with your other posts, i'm finding myself searching left and right and in the deeper portions down the middle as well.
looks like a sweet place to enjoy a beverage sitting on that bench.
peaceful and quiet atmosphere, lovely lighting and sharpness too.

how did I forget about this one? I saw it a few days ago.
awesome note Brenda!
one could only imagine living in such conditions, but the sad truth is I bet many still do in other countries all around the world.
I'll seriously have to look for that book, i'll check Chapters and Amazon.
what I like about this photo and the note, is how we wouldn't really know anything about this history by looking at the same location today. Meaning there's history in every area of every city.
I wonder how the future will look back on the current lower East Side - interesting right?

I just Marvel at this type of architecture, its pretty amazing isn't it.
and I still shake my head when it comes to how builders built these over 100-200 years ago. remarkable.
Imagine coming home to this everyday after work!
a very attractive blue sky, and the angled perspective always works well to create depth. well done all around

good on ya Malgo!
that's the way to do it.
go before most other people go and get up early, I like doing it that way aswell.
I'm surprised to hear there are not many blue hours from this location - that's strange.
and a perfect blue hour it is too, its a deep royal blue, and the buildings are smartly focused.
I take it people are NOT allowed out onto the grass area? nobody is there
thanks for this one

ah yes...the Japanese Cherry Trees you had showed us.
I have to say, its always SO much more enjoyable viewing these photos when I now know exactly where they are taken.
I recognize the ugly cement building on the left, and the large pond on the right.
seems like the weather is getting nicer there, but people are still wearing heavier jackets I see.
lovely colors all around, good to capture this before the tree loses its flavour!

I love this place.
your photo shows off the old architecture quite well.
there's still that rustic old feeling to it.
but i'm surprised to see that there are so few people around, where did they all go :)
thanks for this one

Oh I love these long winding roads, they are the best to photograph aren't they!
especially here where the road looks a bit damp and wet, so it stands out even more so.
you could have left out the skyline and it still would have been an interesting scene, but the upper bg is a great secondary subject too.

I've heard that this Island is quite the party island?
is that true? and the prices are very expensive for tourists, I think for both reasons that was why we avoided it :)
but perhaps one day in the near future we will return.
its kind of funny how the white ship almost blends in with the buildings far off into the bg, its as if they're all 1
fun photo taken only a few days ago, looks like the weather is quite sweet!

I was going to say that perhaps this was taken hand held, but then I noticed it was a 4 sec exposure, you must have had a tripod or some device.
the colors come out so well against the black sky behind it. excellent contrasting elements.

I bet you enjoyed this place didn't ya, this is totally up your alley, you're favorite types of places to be.
for obvious reasons the golden light is the key here, I really warms up the landscape.
and yeah, those ripples are a wonderful lead-in and they compliment the clouds too. what's not to like right?
I sent you an email this morning :)
