Hi Bev,magnificent effect of lights and shadows on the facade of this church, the atmosphere of the moment is special ad very beautiful! The best exposure to take the effect of the moment and interesting note about what it is possible to see there too especially about the world war.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

excellent title choice, you hit the mark with that one.
this is an area of France I have not been to yet, maybe i'll get there one of these days.
really like the combination of shadow and light, areas of darkness and areas of brightness, its quite attractive.
sharp and clear presentation too.

you went to Cuba again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow, lucky for you :)
Having been to Havana for 4 days, i know how hard it can be to get a hot shower, and a shower that works 100% of the time...so perhaps this guy thought he'd get a natural shower haha
I know this area very well, now I wish I was here too!
fun shot with the atmosphere.
you were in cuba not too long ago right?
macjake (63250) 2015-12-01 11:35
haha...PERFECT shot from Florida and Miami, the colours of the car suits the architecture so well - I've been to Florida many times so i know what i'm talking about :)
your shot with the car has a real Miami feel.
and yeah, good idea with the tight framing.

I really have to visit Belgium one of these years! Looks so beautiful and photogenic.
and here is another excellent example of just that.
that low bridge is quite charming, and i love all the stone in the buildings.
architecture is A+ as well, so is the compo.
macjake (63250) 2015-12-01 11:24
its quite interesting to see all these churches you're posting in Quebec, compared to the ones we see all the time in Europe.
thanks for the history too.
fine presentation in the frame, well balanced with good lighting. enjoy your day

thanks for the linking info, i guess i'll have to give it another try.
I've never been to Vietnam, but this is seemingly much more calm of a street scene than what we're used to seeing.
for sure the highlight is the Colonial architecture, its awesome to have the trees and plants coming out of control as well.
Guess I'll make it to Vietnam one of these days.

Quel endroit magnifique! Ces eaux-là sont parfaites!
C'est une photo merveilleuse aussi!
La netteté, la gestion de la lumière, les couleurs, le format horizontal, le pdv choisi et la compo sont superbes!
Merci du partage,

now you're making me want to post some shots from Greece as well...hmmm...maybe I'll do that :)
the way you composed this one to make all the colours mix is what makes it so attractive. well done all around my friend.
makes me want to travel back here again.
macjake (63250) 2015-12-01 10:56
Oh man, i am so jealous :)
I have never ever in my life been to a sunflower field like this. loving all the yellows and greens. You could have even eliminated the blue sky and it would still look wonderful.
fun warm shot
macjake (63250) 2015-12-01 10:55
we don't usually see shots like this from you.
and i really like it. has a real rustic feel to it with the types of subjects we see. Railroads and train stations are great subjects. spooky atmosphere too. nice shot
