sometimes you just have to get the most classic of photos right? and this is certainly one of them.
I wouldn't change anything about it, other than wishing I was here as well haha
beautiful light and colours all around, and the overall perspective make it come together

Gotta admit, Serbia is one of those countries that I really don't know much about - so when I see a good quality photo taken from here, I'll take a second look for sure.
Largest in the World? wow, thats quite the statement.
and i don't think there would be many as ornate as the in Istanbul :)
I like the angular lines in the front, they make that a leading line and path for us to start looking.
excellent quality shot taken after the rain, nothing wrong with that.

Reminds me of some scenes I get to photograph in Iceland, just a little colder though haha
But it has that same look of just one building with the horizon and landscape in the wide angle.
Looks like nothing is surviving, looks very abandoned and lonely out here. a wonderful atmospheric shot

well, I wouldn't get dressed up as a Pirate, but I would line up to get on board that Tall Ship!
these boats seem to be a dying breed.
and I like the bg subjects too. Looks like the tallest building used to be some sort of Factory or Warehouse. I bet it hasn't changed its look for 100 years!

easy to pick this one out from your gallery, its just has that overall attractive look and feeling to it.
lots of bright light, bright colours, blue waters and its classic Greece for photographers. whats not to like about it!

The longer I look at this the more it looks like a toy city
the other thing that stands out alot is how flat and short the buildings are throughout the town.
its a great overview, lovely shot and lighting

when foreigners think of Turkey, I don't think mountains come to mind right away! But thats ok, and thats what makes this one stand out even more.
nice to have the little patch of blue sky and large white clouds to fill out the rest of the frame. sweet indeed.

I like the WS photo with the scarf around the neck of the sculpture, thats pretty funny looking, and it helps that he has a smile on his face too.
and now that I see the bubbles in the air, it reminds me of blowing the same bubbles when I was a kid...always a fun time! Yesterday I saw in the store you can now purchase coloured bubbles! So when you blow them they actually come out as purple, blue, red...whatever...thats cool.
hey, at least this girl is wearing an orange scarf!
not the best of days, but she's out there.

reading your note, it shows the progression of this preserve, and thats fantastic. Its such a large preserve, how does one person get to see all of it on just one day! I think that would be hard to do.
you show us a little piece of it here, i wouldn't want to fall inside. They'd make a meal out of me :)
a great reportage photo, a great cultural photo
macjake (67012) 2016-05-25 12:15
oh yeah, i've been here taking photos many many times as well.
depending on which roads you take you have to be careful in these parts of the city.
nice to see the W building in the bg. If that building was in a better part of town it would be great! But i guess its all part of the re-development of the East Side of Vancouver. It has to happen at some point.
love these shots

it may be a small thing, but i like the light on the small path on the far right, I think that makes a big difference to the overall scene. The lighting in the far bg makes a strong impact too. nice place to take your dog for a walk :)
macjake (67012) 2016-05-25 12:03
this is what I like.
I like these shots where its taken from down below and you're looking straight up into the sky. Its great to have these unusual sightlines, we don't walk around all day with this perspective, so its fun to take photos in this way.
and there you go again, shooting directly into the sun! haha
fine note too, cheers

imagine the original owners seeing this Villa today, with postcards and sill stuff for sale out front :)
I think they would be pretty upset!
but this is the world of today I guess.
as for the building itself, its beautiful and old, still has that rustic feeling to it. fine lighting and details.
macjake (67012) 2016-05-25 11:55
classic shot and scene, I wish it were in my gallery aswell :)
in this viewpoint we can clearly see the large scale of the city and the surrounding area, thats what makes this such a great shot too.
