awesome high rise shot.
we have an almost perfect duplicate of this building downtown in Vancouver.
I like the way the building goes inward, like steps for a huge giant to climb up the tower :)
the colors and reflections are just how you want them to be.
sweet shot in this close up format

now this is a pretty darn cool shot.
glad you decided to pull over and capture this one.
funny how most people dont even know these reflection shots exist to be taken.
its neat how the vertical lines do downward on an angle, thats a lucky surprise. and all the activity on the street level is perfectly transferred on the glass...well seen.

hmmm...can you count all the rectangles here?
I would guess there are at least 20 or so.
surprising to see a photo from here where the lighting is so dim, or perhaps you did that in post processing?
but not to worry, its still a fine look into the town. We have an abandoned type of building on the far left, and a sweet rooftop restaurant on the top in the middle. I'd eat there for sure, it must have sweet views overlooking the water. interesting pov from the boat

I bet this place is quiet! Looks like its just you and a few stones :)
Oh what i'd pay to see this castle in its Heyday as you say.
I like how you included the fg features, thats something I can learn from...when I walked up on these abandoned Castles i tend to step infront of the fences and such. I can see the benefit of leaving them in the scene too.
rustic, even romantic. looks great to me.
I'll try to post a new photo tonight or tomorrow.

Hi Jean Claude
Looks like we were in Edinburgh at almost the same time, but not quite.
how long did you stay here? looks like you had wonderful weather on this day, was it like this everyday for you?
a very pretty and colorful presentation from the city, you would never know this is Edinburgh. excellent choice to show us this area.

Hello Bev, Looking at these small remnants of the castle, it is difficult to imagine that it was visited by such notable people in the past. Lovely view. Nice place for campsite.
Have a nice Sunday

Hello Noel, Like Ike, I looked at the map and pictures in Google Map. What a fabulous place, specially when you were lucky with the weather. I thought that the Moher Cliffs are the highest. I am not sure if I could sit like this with ice cream knowing about 600 m to the sea below. breath taking scenery and lovely scene. have you also some ice cream?

PS. Cos tam przeczytałam, ze wybierasz sie do Chin i Pakistanu? Ja nie mam pomysłu na jesień :(.

Hello Sayeed, what a poetic beautiful note accompany this fabulous picture. I can imagine your feeling to be there before sunrise, alone. Magic place, magic picture in blue. Splendid perfect reflections. Original composition.

Hello John, I feel as I was there with you on the TE-meeting :). And, in fact, we met nine days after I was there. This is the same hall as here. The fireplace is really impressive. Original tiles on the floor but I like most the colour of the walls, they contrast wonderfully with wooden decorations. Superb composition and light management in the interior.
WArem regards Malgo

good to see a new photo from ya!
so you've been travelling around your country lately i see, more photos to come i take it?
we didn't make it to Slieve League, we wanted to, we planned on it...but by luck when we got to this area of the country it was rain rain rain and strong winds...nothing at all like the day you had. So with time being really important, we decided to move on to another area. Too bad, we really wanted to see this.
at least we get to see it in your gallery now, so thats ok too! look at the clouds you got! Lucky man! and I would have certainly walked the 2 km to get here, i bet there's good views to enjoy as well.
love the clouds, love the view, love the rocks...alot to see here in this bright shot.
