This is a fine shot of this colorful town. Your POV is nice here using the bridge to lead the eye across the shot. The lighting is fine yielding good color, sharpness & detail. The trees on both sides provide nice natural framing for the scene.

This is a fine shot of this weathered barn. The angle of the shot is nice allowing us to see two sides of the structure which creates depth and direction. The lighting is great and the photo has excellent sharpness and detail.

This is a well composed shot using the foreground tree to frame the house. The canal creates a nice diagonal through the shot creating a sense of direction. The angle of the shot is nice giving the shot depth and balance.

This is a nicely composed shot taken from a good POV. The angle of the shot works well creating a sense of direction for the scene. The lighting is nice as is the color and sharpness. The cars are a bit of a distraction but could not be avoided.

I might have tried removing any filters (eg, cp) and dialing the camera to 'museum' setting, rather than use flash. The light would be softer, no uv ray damage to the painting, and no hard shadows and glare spots. The crucial central figure's head on the tapestry has been completely obliterated by the flash. The family portraits on the mantelpiece are a nice touch. Where artificial light is strongly reflected I raise the camera higher and use the lcd display setting. Tfs!

Lots to look at in this interesting Salzburg shot. I took a similar shot of the cemetery at the base of the hill between 2 churches. Good color, sharpness and saturation. The greenery and bright flowers contrast well agaisnt the dull lifeless stone tombs. Tfs!

Hello Gerrit - I see this dear little cottage is for sale... it looks so pretty with its red shutters and someone is sure to put in an offer soon! I love the canal-side location and leafy surrounds. An idyllic looking place, beautifully photographed with attractive colours and detail. The red shutters really make a statement don't they?

I know this place, and took several shots but did not have thge superb blue sky depicted here. Good sharpness and excellent color and saturation with punchy light contrasts. This fine art graffiti is far more welcome than tagging. Superb warm cold color contrasts too. Tfs!

Hello Jose - The dark tones in this shot appeal to me; there are no burnt highlights in spite of the light. The colours are lovely and rich and details well rendered. The church is beautiful and the two women walking towards it completes a very nice shot.
