I remember spending hours walking quite long and steep distances in the heat, but I don't remember whether I saw this place. It's already more than 20 years ago. Even maybe without this, Petra was one of my greatest travel experiences ever, offering stunning sights and many photo opportunities like this one, where you nicely used the cave entrance as a natural frame. You managed perfect exposure inside and outside in the strong sun.

A very nice and even touching photo of the swan and her baby. Maybe there are more of them we can't see from here. They are beautiful birds but sometimes rather aggressive, so maybe you were lucky that she wasn't too protective of her children. It's a lovely composition with very good colours.

I wish you a speedy recovery from the shock of yesterday ;-). I think the British people (or actually about one third of them) made a huge mistake. In spite of the bureaucracy and some lack of transparency in the EU machinery we are really stronger united than each one on his own. I think Mr Cameron will go down in history in a way he didn't expect. Watch out for PM Johnson. :-(
(We may get an even greater shock on November 8.)
Now then, this is a very good photo. As you well know I love the combination of "sights" and people participating one way or another. We can all enjoy the fine decorations of this huge chamber, and personally I love to watch the people and their reactions (and sometimes lack of). I believe Rob made a correct point about the man in the middle being rather bored, just waiting for his wife to get ready.
As always a photo of great quality.

It's not so nice to see children having to work to bring money to the family, but disregarding that it's a good photo. The girl is well captured, the colours and light are good, and the people enjoying the sunshine in the background tell us about the huge gap of living conditions between the locals and the tourists.

Another red church, but I think the one in Vilnius looks better. The weather was nicely sunny and it's always interesting to see photos from such a rarely shown city as Minsk. It's so close to us and so little known. Independence Avenue is not the liveliest main street I have seen. Maybe it is mainly intended for parades and not a popular place for strolling.

People at work is a theme I like and these men are timely captured when preparing themselves for the rush of visitors. The desk covered with plates is nicely seen on a diagonal and the photo is very well exposed.

I don't see any problems with lack of sharpness. If I could wish for anything it would have been that you had snapped half of a second earlier, so they had been slightly more apart. But who am I really to ask for such perfection? You did very well to observe and capture this meeting in front of the colourful graffiti. It's an urban scene very much to my liking.

A lot of hard work has been done to make this garden so perfectly neat. Personally I would prefer something looking slightly more natural, but I am still quite impressed by this perfection. The perfection also includes the photo with its very good sharpness, exposure and composition.

An almost empty beach on Naxos would be hard to find in June, even at sunset, so the view of the horses and the riders all alone by the sea is a rare and wonderful sight. The warm light and the fine reflexes in the water as well as the hazy silhouette of the distant island (Paros, isn't it?) also create a very attractive atmosphere.
