Hello Gert, Indeed, it is quite close to Aleppo and something like 400 km from Cappadocia. I was thinking about going there and maybe farther to Van and Nemrut but there were no local tours at the time I was in Istanbul. My dream to visit this part of Turkey.
This time without Workshops? Splendid b&w composition, the houses are so closely built. Nice roofs (probably red) and charming bird flies over the city.

Another nice picture from this Kocsonya Festival . We have similar dish called nóżki w galarecie (it means small legs in a jelly), But it never happened that there was a frog inside so we have no such festival :). Very attractive composition from this backstage, with a lady preparing the coffee and her husband in red jacket. Excellent picture.

Hello Gert, Fantastic all three photos in black and white. All are beautiful and interesting, hard to choose the best for the main upload. No problem when it is possible just to look at workshops. (Who does it?).
I looked in Google and also here on TE on the other pictures from Srinagar and it seems that these boats were and still are the main feature and attraction. The boats in Kerala are a bit different. I mean, the kettuvalam were used for the rice and spices transportation on the canals and now they are converted as the luxury boats for tourists. From the picture, it seem that these are used just to live or as a kind of hostels on the water.
What a place there! Fascinating but so far away also in India.
Have a nice day
