My latest photo showed just a nice street, this on shows just a nice family. It's a good photo which seems to have captured their individual attitudes and characters very well. It becomes an interesting photo, more than just a family portrait, along with the note. They probably illustrate the problems facing so many families in this region, where very ordinary inter-marriages have made lives complicated because of political developments. I can sense the woman's worry at being a refugee with her kids, having her husband in the not very capable Iraqi army.
As usual your WS photos are also very nice. Among them I prefer the one with the kids at the citadel and the view of the city. It gives us a little of everything.
So now you are off on another journey again, and you only had time so far to post one single photo from Nepal. You are almost even more hopeless than Malgo. ;-)
Have a good time, and stay safe.

This is an original composition, very different from most photos on TE. I don't like to be near smokers, but this photo with its very well handled light and nicely flowing smoke is quite fascinating. Very well done.

This is a nice composition. The colours are very good and I like the contrast between the slightly untidy foreground of boats and bikes and the very stately, magnificent building across the river.

I remember this village from an earlier photo. It looks nice from this angle too, very neat and very well maintained. As a tourist I would have enjoyed the relative lack of visitors, as a photographer I would (as always) have appreciated some more crowds of locals. I have a feeling there is a "not" missing in this sentence from your note: "It is a main tourist area yet". As a tourist and photographer I would have loved this kind of weather and this light.
