Ola dear Alexandre
I always thought fondue was the realm of the Swiss, until I read your note. I've learnt something new and now must try the famous chocolate fondue of Brasil. Good closeup, sharpness and warm colours.

Ciggies n coffee...a hot breakfast. Love the strong contrasts, black and whites and sharpness. The scene looks like something from a movie still. I love the foreign newspapers, the small cups of coffee and ciggies. A delightful scene, beautifully caught.
Best wishes, have a great weekend

Dia duit Kevin
I saw the photo first and thought how wonderful it was, beautifully timed, well exposed, with quite an air of mystery. Then I read your note and it made me so sad that this poor man has such a hard life and having a ciggie has made his day. I'm glad you came along to cheer him up. How sad it is though, that countries which are so rich, still have citizens who are so poor and deprived.
Thanks for sharing and also thank you for your (overly) generous words about my photography. It's a pleasure to "meet" another Irishman here, my husband being a Donegal man and also your namesake.
Warmest wishes, have a great weekend

Bonjour cher Clodo
Wow what an unusual and effective way to commemorate Breast Cancer awareness. And such an unusual and particular photo. I like the POV, the tight composition and of course, above all, the important message this photo holds. I lost my dear sister-in-law to breast cancer only a few months ago and I truly hope they find a cure for this scourge.

Bonjour cher JJ
Congratulations on your 1500th photo, such a marvellous achievement. And you celebrate well with this marvellous photo. Wonderful colours and light control. The architecture is exquisite and you did well to crop it so tightly. Excellent work, thanks for sharing and congratulations once again.

You seriously must have an invisible sign on you, saying "photobombers welcome". Well, you couldn't have been photobombed by cuter models. They're adorable and I love the effect the wide angle lens has had on the image. beautiful blue tones too, after all, you ARE Bluesteel. Did you get the message I sent you and Tosca on FB? hehehehehe.
Cheers and have a good weekend

Ciao dear Bev
A most beautiful beach and I love the way you composed the shot to bring out the best of the perspective. The cool green and blue tones are enchanting, the image is sharp as a tack and I like how you've composed it so the diagonal lines emerge from the corners. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

I'm baaack from the Red Centre and have red sand everywhere, even a week later. It's a beautiful place but it's good to be home.
Well, this is certainly a cheaper and easier way to get to Egypt. and no sand to blow into very orifice. What a beautiful staircase, I love the warm lighting and the ornate detail of the staircase. The play of light and shadow on the rear staircase is mesmerising and immediately draws the eye into the image. Excellent note as usual.
I hope you and yours are well, thanks for sharing

This is a fantastic image, both in terms of quality and its unique subject matter. The blue colours of this man's outfit are mesmerising and contrasts so well against the natural colours of the background. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

A beautiful shot of the unique architecture of your hometown. I love the blue and white tones, and of course how the red of the Bougainvillea contrasts against those cooler colours. Excellent tight framing and sharpness. An immaculate image, well done.

Bonjour cher Robert
Such a well-composed photo, beautifully eye-catching and one which demonstrates the use to which a low pov and perspective can be put. Superb vertical frame and excellent light management.

Ciao caro Giovanni
Wow what a wonderful juxtaposition, modern and ancient with the ultra modern museum and the ye olde shop on the right. I love the low pov and the effect the tiled floor has had on the perspective. Stunning contrasts and I especially like how vibrant the white tones are. Impeccably sharp and a very interesting note too.
Thank you for sharing, enjoy your pluge, have one for Fluffy and I

Having just come back from 2 weeks in the Red Centre, I'm still covered in red dust. So I feel your pain and see your point. I like the low pov, it's almost as if you're lying on the road to take the shot. The effect of the dust is ethereal, evocative and an essential element of the photo. Well done, I like this a lot.
Warmest wishes and a happy weekend to you

Bonjour cher Daniel
This is a spectacular photo. What amazing details. The surrounding mist creates a natural frame and serves to emphasise the details of the mountain beautifully.
Warmest wishes and thanks for sharing
