I’m absolute not amazed that John was the first TE-member to make compliments about this picture. It is his favourite town and must be glad with your excellent promotion of the beauty of Brugge.

A classical composition with the bow of a gate in the upper side of the scene.
Classical means of course. Well-chosen in a good tradition and always with a succesful result.
Fantastic picture with the impressive cloud above the interesting remains.

This place and it is not the only in Stockholm is perfect to enjoy the heat in the best way. This is also the lovely weather I can remember of 5 years ago. I must have some pictures like this but not so distinct like this.

This old cart would have worked very hard in its day. Now it sits in a garden in the sun, adorned with flowers. Beautiful light and I like very much the different angles. Excellent shot.

Did you know that there is a Sans Souci here in Sydney? It means "no tears". I think it would mean the same in Germany as it is a Latin phrase. Anyway, a lovely wide angle scene. beautiful sharpness, warm light and dappled shade. Your note is informative and interesting. Thanks for sharing, have a beautiful day.

Ciao dear Serghei
What beautiful golden light and reflections. It is simply magical and you have set the scene of tranquillity and peace so expertly. A delightful image of a place that is not photographed enough here on TE.

Now that is some serious fog. Not very summery, but certainly still compelling photographically speaking. I love the greys and silvers. My favourite element is the ripples in the left foreground which remind me of a fish's gills. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.
Have a great week

Ciao dear Rob
When I first saw this, my first thought was, "I bet Ourania would love this". True enough, I see her critique and she does. A lovely abstract image that reminds me of a Chinese garden. The vivid hues immediately draw the eye into the frame and the stunning silvery light is the icing on the cake. Excellent work.
Thanks for sharing, have a beautiful day

Hello dear Birthday Boy Lars
I hope you are having a wonderful birthday and are being spoiled by your loved ones.
This great photo reminds me a lot of the photos of Andew Lipsett who collected photos of American State Houses. I think he would find this interesting, as I do. Excellent wide angle view, great colours and sharpness. A delightful and interesting photos. Amazing how such a bright, dynamic place can be the scene of such tragedy.
Warmest wishes, thanks for sharing

Ciao dear Alexandre
Wow what a place. You have photographed it so expertly and so artistically. I love the perspective and graphism here. The choice of the vertical frame was a masterstroke as was the control of light and reflections on the pavement.
Warmest wishes, thanks for sharing

This is a superb portrait. I love the tight cropping, the flawless light on the face and the remarkable eye contact. Stunning colours and textures, particularly in respect of the skin textures.
You are so fearless getting up so close and personal. I would be so afraid of being told to get lost by them. Not only do they not tell you that, they embrace you! The rapport between photographer and subject is patent
Warmest wishes and thanks for sharing
