Un château, un village, Lunas
À Lunas, dominant le village depuis le rocher du Rédondel, un château est cité dès 806 dans une charte de l’abbaye de Gélone, succédant à un oppidum gallo romain. Le château médiéval élevé au même endroit au XIIème siècle, en 1118, rasé en 1627, fut remplacé par le château actuel du XVIIème siècle, construit en 1641 au bord du GRAVEZON.

In Lunas, overlooking the village from the Redondel rock, a castle is quoted as 806 in a charter of the abbey of Gélone, succeeding a Gallo-Roman oppidum. The medieval castle built in the same place in the 12th century, in 1118, demolished in 1627, was replaced by the present castle present castle 17th century, built in 1641 on bank of the Gravezon. |
