An interesting picture of this historical place. I often noticed that there are a lot of places like this in the United States that remember heroic events in the history of the country.

An excellent picturesque scene with the old plough in front and the white house on the other side of the green orchard.
The lines to the central perspective dominates the picture very well.

Fascinating image of these soft curved hills in a deserted landscape. Salvador Dali could have chosen this landscape to be the background of one of his surrealistic landscapes. This looks to me a place where time can melt.

An importance place in history of mankind. Europeans often tries to forget this and especially the roll our ancestors played with the slave-trade. On your picture this seems to be nowadays a colorful and peaceful place.

Some people will be against the place of these modern windmills and say they disturbed the view of the fort, but I’m always fascinate by the combination of old and new. We live in a world with both element and we can’t separate that.
I love your picture of this scene.

Great view, presented in a very nice, vertical composition. The shades of green go from light in the foreground to dark in the background. The town looks really nice against the hill and the threatening clouds make a great mood.
