A nice happy photo with lots of sunshine. The flowers in the foreground are wonderful, and add much colour to the blues of the lake, mountains and sky. The ferry in the background is a good touch. The wooden pier and the yacht create two good focal points.

This is a fine stained glass window. Your photo shows us all the details, and you have eliminated the distortions that you get when taking a photo looking up at a high window. Perfect exposure and sharpness.

This bird is a long way from home! It's a familiar sight to me, but you have done well to capture the details in the dark plumage. Is it true that there are white swans? Who would have though such strange things exist? The northern hemisphere sure is a weird place.

I tend to lose patience when waiting for just the right moment to take the shot. Your patience has paid off here, with the group of colorful and animated figures in the foreground providing a nice contrast with the pale, monumental arches (or iwans) behind them. Your photo brings out the wonderful symmetry of the building.

You have captured some great colors in this photo, not just the red building but the striking clothes of the women and children. There is nice symmetry in the building and also with the reflections in the pool.

The long shutter speed gives a nice silky texture to the water. Nice composition and sharpness. The overcast sky helps even out the light, although it looks like you may have fiddled with the sky in some way.

Such deep red colors! And such rich blue sky! The depth of field is impressive, so we can see details in the nearest tulips and also in the trees on the horizon. The low point of view works well here, giving a well balanced composition.

638 years to build, and it still doesn't look finished! There are bits missing all over the place. And some of those columns don't look too sturdy. No wonder the Greek economy is in trouble, if that's what their building industry is like. But apart from that, you captured a nice warm glow on the ruins, with lots of detail picked out by the light.
