The snow really makes this photo something special, because we don't see many winter shots of Monte Fitzroy. You found a great viewpoint with the magnificent mountain framed by snowy trees. The strange cloud on top of the peak adds to the scene.

A good sharp night shot of the famous landmark. There is just enough ambient light to make out the cliffs in the background. I bet it was cold there.
Concerning the origin of the name, it has nothing to do with Mie scattering by eucalyptus oil droplets. I don't know who invented this fairy tale but it has taken root in the tourist literature like some noxious weed. The mountains were named by the first settlers in Sydney before anyone had actually been to the mountains. They looked blue from Sydney because they are 70 kilometres away. Any mountain range will look blue from that distance no matter where it is, and no matter what vegetation it has, because water vapour and dust in the atmosphere make distant things look blue. Most photographers are well aware of this effect. Look at your photos from other parts of the world and you will convince yourself that distant mountains look the same shade of blue everywhere - eucalyptus oil is not necessary. I'll get off my soap box now.

A fascinating old building. Your wide view shows well the scale of the building and its golden decorations. The artwork looks decidedly medieval at the top, but seems to become more modern towards the bottom where it looks like renaissance or later. It has obviously had a few makeovers over the centuries.

You found a great viewpoint for photographing the city. The church stands out like gold in the dark blue city, and the ferris wheel gives a bright focal point in the foreground. Excellent sharpness and handling of light.

These are very attractive towers, complementing the stone bridge. A picturesque town on a nice sunny day. I think this photo is better than the workshop because it has more green trees which add some color to the photo.

A beautiful spot, and worth the effort to get there. The tower in the foreground is a good focal point, and the ship is another good touch. Nice coastal scenery.
The southernmost fiords in the world are in Antarctica, unsurprisingly. But if you are looking for an equivalent of Kotor, maybe you should be wondering about the northernmost fiords in the southern hemisphere: these are in Chile.

It was worth getting up early for this one! The bold colours in the sky and more subtle colours in the water really make this a joy to look at. The jetty and shed make an excellent focus for the photo.

A majestic view, well captured. The building and person in the foreground help anchor the shot, and our eyes are led upward past the nearby ridges up to the mighty snowy mountain in the distance. The portrait format really makes this mountain look high (which it is!).

The photo certainly has plenty of colour! But it also has wonderful textures and some mysterious shadows. The bottom step looks like it has a mountain landscape painted on it, although it's just random weathering of the layers of paint.

This does look reminiscent of the Dolomites. The dramatic cliffs make a great background to the church, and a lovely warm light shines on both the mountain and the building. The portrait format emphasizes the of height of the Dents de Lanfon.

This is wonderful rock formation, and your photo is sharp and well composed. But the highlights should be brighter. If you have software for manipulating photos, you could make the light areas much brighter, and perhaps increase the saturation to bring out the colors of the rocks.

Excellent shot of this colorful train travelling through a monochrome landscape. The fast shutter speed has created a sharp photo. Good timing. The contradictory slogan on the train adds to the interest of the photo.

A nice happy photo with lots of sunshine. The flowers in the foreground are wonderful, and add much colour to the blues of the lake, mountains and sky. The ferry in the background is a good touch. The wooden pier and the yacht create two good focal points.
