I like the minimalist composition with just the dried muddy agricultural field, some green grass at the back, the dark blue hazy hills and the lighter toned bg blue sky. The diagonal furrows add lead in lines. Tfs!

Excellent density levels which have given clean whites and solid blacks along with ideal saturation and lighting contrasts. Good warm cold color contrasts between the blue sky and red brick and white building. Tfs!

Fantastic symmetrical reflections within the casino with excellent sharpness and attractive warm colors of yellow and orange. They contrast well with the blue cyan walls framing the crowds. Tfs!

Nice silhouettes with good sharpness and just enough shadow detail in the fg to make out the diagonal layering of the rocks. A nice warm cold color contrast too in the sunset skies between orange and blue. Tfs!

I have seen this rare geological phenomenon in Rotorua, in the centre of the north island of New Zealand. The smell of sulphur didn't really bother me. I got used to it after an hour or two. The crowds add scale to the erupting geyser. Tfs!

This is another Babylonian sculpture. http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/glazed-brick-bull-from-the-main-street-in-babylon-news-photo/142931348
The distinctive blue and gold design identifies it as Babylonian, not Hittite. A superb shot though, and way sharper & better composed than mine. Tfs!

It is certainly a beautiful lion sculpture but it is not Hittite. It is Babylonian from Iraq. I saw the Babylon palace reconstructed in Berlin museum and it has the same style. Tfs!

Missed this one. I like the layering here of fg green, grey, white / blue, green and blue sky in the bg. Nice repetition of the fg white flowers and good use of a shallow dof. The boat is a relaxing way to travel for sure. Tfs!
