This is a lovely view towards the hill, very nicely framed by the trees. The greatest assets of this photo are the fantastic light and the beautiful colours with so many fine tones of green. The light clouds are very pretty too.

This is an original and very beautiful composition. The tree and its many hanging branches have created a very attractive pattern with very fine tones of yellow and almost blue shining through them. The silhouettes of the houses create fine foundation for the composition.

Hello Jean Claude,
A very nice compositions, all the way from the swans and the little waterfall right up to the castle on the hill. The houses along the bank are very pretty and the colours and light are magnificent.

Mycket snyggt taget.

Being someone who actually likes colours I am rather overwhelmed by this explosion of red and pink. It is also easy to imagine the loud music and rhythms from the ladies' body language. In crowds like this you often wish you could have cropped the photo slightly differently, but it's hard to get it perfect. There will always be someone else partly cut off. Even if you are not totally satisfied I like this for the brightness and the joyful expressions.

This is a wonderful photo, I really like it. This is a total opposite to "Cat on a hot tin roof". The white cat looks beautifully lazy on the fine old brick roof. You have captured the textures of all the materials very nicely, as well as the mainly rather dark tones. Only the cat and the plant growing up the wall break this colour scheme. You made an excellent observation and you clearly have a good eye for what makes a fine photo.

It looks anything but easy to wear a hat like this. You captured this photo at a nice moment when the nearest girl had her hat adjusted by a friend. It's a nice glimpse with a personal touch during the big festival. The light is very good and I like the green and pink details.

A wonderful view of this quiet port, for the moment totally empty. The town is nicely placed below the forested hill and the houses are beautifully reflected among the many yellow buoys ornating the water. It's a very pleasant photo with fine colours and superb light.

It's a slight surprise to find this almost Riviera like beach in this place, but why not? It's still not too crowded and the scenery is just as beautiful as anywhere else.
As for Shkoder or Shkodra, Tirana/Tiranë, Berat/Berati etc I never understood which version to use. The explanations don't make much sense to me. Even the Albanians seem a bit confused :-)

This is a beautiful and very interesting photo. The Bronze Age circle is fascinating, even more so from the knowledge that it is usually covered with water. It is also a very carefully composed photo with a wonderful light and colours and well treated clouds. The workshop photo is equally interesting even though the location is less captivating.

This is a fine and original photo that immediately caught my intention. It's a nice portrait, even if you didn't take it yourself, and the combination with the house at Vesterbro makes this quite thought-provoking and poetic, so the inclusion of the poem by Tove Ditlevsen (I think she is quite well known in Sweden too) comes very naturally.

That title makes me imagine the man is talking to his shadow. It seems that some people who use their phones to isolate themselves from the nearest surroundings would be only too happy to use their shadows as their closest friend. The cracks in the road could symbolize this isolation.
It's a great photo, very well cropped and in beautiful B&W tones, and it's a photo that stimulates my imagination. Not many photos really do that.

That backpack was the reward for your long trek. It is part of the important human presence and brightens the view enormously. The scenery itself is terrific and the small patches of snow are very nicely reflected.

Funny photos and a funny note, but did you know that Å is actually the last letter of the Norwegian alphabet, not the first? So you travelled from one last place to another last one ;-)-
In Swedish Ä and Ö both come after Å.
Have a nice day,

This is a photo I had missed. It is a very attractive composition with fine depth and nice yellow lines leading my eyes across the river. The buildings in the background are elegant and the light is exceptionally good.

Poppies are definitely my favorite flowers. I usually see them a bit further south were they often line the roads or railway tracks, more rarely covering entire fields like here. Their colour is fantastic, especially along with the green leaves and stems. This is another fine photo from the rural parts of Rügen, a simple but very beautiful scenery far away from the cities. It's not a complicated photo. This kind of landscape doesn't need any complications.

These roofs should be teeming with activities, but I only see one or two persons (maybe). Perhaps this was a very hot part of the day. This is not only a very blue town, it also looks very congested. Where are the streets? Is there room enough for a car or even a rickshaw between the houses? I know the perspectives can play games with your eyes, but this really looks very dense. And I wonder what the neighbors think of the guy who painted his house pink. Traitor?
