Photographer’s Note
Croatan Sound is an inlet in Dare County, North Carolina. It connects Pamlico Sound with Albemarle Sound, and is bordered to the east by Roanoke Island; Roanoke Sound is on the other side of the island. Its name comes from the Croatan Indians who once inhabited the area. This shot was taken while on a Thanksgiving week vacation to the Outer Banks at sunset one night. The sea oats are a familiar outline to many pictures there and are protected as they help protect the dunes from constant erosion. A truly beautiful time of year there.

Hello Lisa,
The is is an exceptionally beautiful sunset shot with the floral growth in the foreground in perfect focus — as it should be. One suggestion I would make is to present it at 800 pixels (horizontal dimension). It most certainly deserves to be seen in full bloom. In Photoshop, after sizing it, just save at a lower quality to make sure it does not exceed 300 kb.
Warm regards and have a good Sunday,
Bulent
