Photographer’s Note
This lone hill is located past the Leaf Hill Trail on the left at the end of the road in the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument.
One more view in the Workshop...

Hi Steven
I like the contrast between the orange mount, yellow fore ground and blue sky, but I don't understand how the sky can be pink on the left side

Hello Steven
Yes, this place is definitely magical! The warm and attractive colors of the hill are contrasting nicely with the sky and grass in FG. At what time was taken this photo?
Cheers

what's happening to the sky, turning to pink? this is a very good point of view of this famous place, a POV I don't think I have already seen,
this version is far better than the one in WS even if the one in WS is showing better the texture of this "painted" hill

I should have went huh? The colors are stunning. I like the pink in the sky too, it makes the reds seem brighter, well done.

I never tire of the beauty and originality of this place. Very good work here, those colors come out so clearly...really a lovely sight. And I like the workshop a lot too ! great perspective, I hope to see some posted.
All the best to you, and nice holidays (replying to your wishes), although it's still a bit early:-))). Not much time for commenting and posting these days..., sorry.
