Photographer’s Note
This mountain peak is situated just across the border in Washington state, but I took this photo from Eagle mountain ridge in Abbotsford. This peak is the most dominant viewpoint from all over the northwest. I have seen it on a clear view from Vancouver Island over 120 km away. Tonight I am showing a zoom in viewpoint showing the details of snow movement on this peak as the sun brought its final highlights at the close of the day.
This photo was actually 4 photos stitched together to capture the desired amount of detail from this zooming distance. Trust you like this view. Thanks

Let me be the first to congratulate you on this photographic work. Good job! I appreciate the angle of the sun upon the western slopes of the mountain and prominent peaks. What a great vantage point. J. R.

Hi Paul:
Different perspective of Mt. Baker, but very beautiful. The large version does it justice. Not a lot of colors, but with light like that it's okay--it compensates. Great job.

Hi Paul,
Very very well done, Paul. And guess what, of all the pictures I have in my gallery and on my website, I do not have a picture of Mount Baker. I was by there yesterday and noticed this same scene that you caught so expertly. I must get out and fine a way to get a good shot of this spectacular mountain vista. TFS. Gerald

Hi Paul
Excellent capture. I was looking at Mt Baker the same afternoon from Langley and thinking I wish I had my camera. The exposure is such that we can see the detail in the light and shadow.Well done.

A magnificent panoramic vision, Paul. The stitch has served you well. Again, what I like so much is the freshness of the shot, shot and submitted the same day. The resolution and colors are superb. Have a good week,

I love these types of stratovolcanoes... This picture is amazing especially due to the huge amount of snow up there. It almost seems as if you took the shot from a equal altitude (3900m or something).
Really nice and crystal clear!

Hi Paul
That's great for this marvellous view, your dominant position dives a very good attraction in the large post that I felt falling into the decor.
Well done.
Best regards.

Fantastic panorama in large version! Canon or Nikon makes no difference when the photograph is good ;-)

Bonjour Paul,

For a moment I remember Cordillera de Los Andes (Mountain Range) her in Chile... I think the large panorama format fits perfect for your image...
What do you use for stitching the photos???
Best Regards
Álvaro
